Each year, South Carolina Farm Bureau awards over $36,000 in scholarships through the Foundation, SC State Fair and Youth Ambassador program. Individual counties also sponsor scholarships. Click the links below to find out which scholarship program is right for you.

- SCFB Educational Foundation Scholarships
Each year, the South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation Educational Foundation awards six - $3000 scholarships to honor past Farm Bureau leaders that made significant contributions to the organization. The scholarships are for South Carolina Farm Bureau member families and will be awarded to rising college sophomores, juniors, and seniors on the basis of character, demonstrated leadership abilities, and dedication to agriculture or related fields. Recipients will be selected by the Scholarship Committee of the South Carolina Farm Bureau Foundation.
Applications for these scholarships should be mailed no later than April 30 prior to the beginning of the first semester of the following academic year to:

Individuals or groups are encouraged to participate in funding the SC Farm Bureau Foundation by making tax-deductible contributions to the scholarship fund of their choice.
Contributions intended as memorial gifts should indicate the name of the person for whom the gift is given and the name and address of the family member designated to receive the acknowledgment of the gift.

SC Farm Bureau provides $11,500 in scholarships for youth competing in livestock events at the SC State Fair:
- Two $2,500 scholarships to the winners of the Junior Beef Competition
- $2,000 scholarship to the winner of the Equine Youth Competition
- $2,000 scholarship to the winner of the Junior Dairy Competition
- $1,500 scholarship to the winner of the Junior Swine Competition
- $1,000 scholarship to the winner of the Youth Meat Goat Scholarship

October 11-22, 2023- Youth Ambassador Scholarships
The Youth Ambassador Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Women’s Leadership Committee, aims to surface young leaders passionate about agriculture and cultivate their ability to engage in the food and farming conversation with a wide variety of audiences. The program also showcases opportunities for careers in agriculture and its related industries.
The SCFB Youth Ambassadors receive a $2,000 college scholarship and specialized advocacy training preparing them to be influential and effective young leaders. Ambassadors will attend and speak at a variety of Farm Bureau events and meetings throughout the year to gain better understanding of the organization and its leadership structure. These activities are paid for and coordinated by the SCFB Promotion and Education Division.
