Katie works full-time with Clemson Extension as the Clemson University 4-H Youth Development Specialist. Katie graduated with her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in agricultural education. She lives in Newberry with her husband Jimmie Lee and their two children. They reside on the farm, where they grow soybeans, cotton, wheat, corn, silage, oats and coastal hay, and raise beef cattle, turkeys, meat goats and horses.

- Networking within several agricultural organizations
