Jimmie Lee is a full-time farmer in Newberry with his wife, Katie, and their two children. They grow soybeans, cotton, wheat, corn, silage, oats, and coastal hay, and raise beef cattle, turkeys, meat goats and horses. He graduated with his Bachelors Degree in agricultural education. Jimmie Lee is a former YF&R county chair and has won multiple state YF&R awards. He is a Newberry County Farm Bureau Board Member, Member of the Cattlemen’s Association, and the SC Farmers and Agribusiness Association.
