Aiken County
Aiken County YF&R members Rachael Rockwell, Zach Hawkins, Aubrey Darnell, Robert McKee, and Hunter Fields participated in two potato giveaway for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Walther Farms donated twenty pallets, each pallet weighing 1,000 pounds, for each of the giveaways. YF&R members assisted with checking in recipients as they arrived at the farm to pick up potatoes and delivered potatoes to various locations around the community.
As part of the Farm Bureau Cares program, Aiken County Farm Bureau and local Farm Bureau Insurance agents donated $500 to Dianne Maloney, whose home was lost in a fire.
Edgefield County
The Edgefield County Farm Bureau office participated in Farm Bureau cares this Christmas, and adopted 4 children from the angel tree at W.E. Parker Elementary School. The office gave the toys the children requested, along with a coat, a pair shoes, 2 pairs of pants, several shirts, underwear and socks for each child.
Jasper County
Jasper County made a donation to Carolina Boarders, a livestock and farm animal rescue, for Farm Bureau Cares.
