A message to SCFB members:
I wanted to reach out and let you know what is going on at South Carolina Farm Bureau. These are challenging times for all of us.
We are working to accomplish the goals of the organization while balancing the needs of our staff during this uncertain time. This unique and challenging situation has forced me to make some difficult management decisions.
Due to concerns about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are implementing the following precautionary measures:
- At this time, the State Office will remain open, but staff are encouraged to work remotely if at all possible. It is our goal to continue working on the issues and programs that are important to our members. Staff will continue to be accessible through emails and phone service, but it may need to be their mobile phone rather than their office phone.
- All in-person Federation meetings scheduled to take place in the next three weeks have been canceled. Some may be rescheduled as a conference call, so please look for communication with call-in instructions.
- All overnight and air travel for staff has been suspended at this time.
South Carolina Farm Bureau is committed to serving its members and we will continue to work hard on your behalf in this uncertain time. Please know that this situation is constantly changing, and we will continue to update you on any additional changes to our business operations.
Our prayer is that we all stay safe and take care of our families as we deal with the new challenges in these uncertain times.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Harry Ott
