Upcoming Free Webinar: Income Tax on Timber
On Feb. 13, from noon - 1:30 p.m. Eastern, a free webinar on 2012 tax return filing for woodland owners, foresters, loggers, tax preparers and land managers will be held. Presenters include Dr. Linda Wang, a tax specialist with the U.S. Forest Service and Dr. John Greene, retired research forester with the U.S. Forest Service. Topics include tax reporting on timber transactions as well as the latest sweeping tax law changes from the “fiscal cliff” package.
